Waza condemns Lethpora Killings, says Indian military oppression can’t muzzle the ongoing movement

Incarcerated APHC leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today strongly condemned the killing of innocent youths of Lethpora Awantipora and Chatabal. He expressed sympathy with the families of martyred youth and denounced the use of force and lethal weapons on peaceful protesters.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in an issued statement said that Indian military oppression can’t muzzle the ongoing movement and can’t deter Kashmiris from achieving the birth right-right to self determination- guaranteed by UN security resolutions.

Incarcerated senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Monday urged international human rights bodies and organizations to visit Kashmir and work in Kashmir so that atrocities of forces are put before the world community.
He appealed Kashmiris to show complete determination towards the ongoing movement for which lakhs of innocents have laid down sacrifices.
In an issued statement, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza appealed international human rights bodies and organizations to visit Kashmir and report the atrocities particularly ongoing killed spree and use of lethal weapons like Pellet Gun and its consequences to conscience world community for bringing an end to current bloodshed.

Waza slams India for ‘sponsored’ remarks, says it is Intifada against occupation
Srinagar, July 21:
Incarcerated senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Thursday slammed India for ‘sponsored’ remarks and said that this is Intifada against Indian occupation and oppression not the sponsored unrest as the Indian state calls it.
Party Spokesman quoting incarcerated chairman said that Kashmiris have burnt the most due to illegal occupation and suppression lashed on them by the occupational troopers but this time people have made firm stand to break the chains of occupation and secure the ineligible birth right ‘right to self determination’ guaranteed by United Nations.
He slammed New Delhi and Indian biased media outlets for calling the Kashmiri Intifada a ‘sponsored unrest’. Waza said that like Media the New Delhi prefers to remain in denial mood which could have serious repressions in coming times.
Waza thanked Pakistan for political, moral and diplomatic support and urged the country to intensify its plan for highlighting the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by the security forces.

Jammu Kashmir Peoples League on Saturday conveyed an extraordinary meeting of its central council members and senior leaders in Srinagar at party headquarters under the chairmanship of Party Vice Chairman Mohd Yaseen Attie.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting include General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Darzi, Haji Qadoos, Abdul Hameed Illahie, Reyaz Ahmad Mir, Mir Bashir, Gowher Khan, Ghulam Moh-u-din Nengroo, Mohd Hafiz Wani and Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi.  
During the meeting members deliberated upon the party affairs and prevailing political scenario and held a threadbare discussion on Kashmir conflict and its resolution.
In the meeting, most importantly members decided to hold a series of program on the 7th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz. They also deliberated upon the telephonic speech of Party Chairman Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob and decided that the all the programs in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir will organized under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob.

Peoples League condemns Rajouri incident

Senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Vice Chairman Mohd Yaseen Attie Thursday condemned Rajouri incident in which some miscreants burned a flag on which ‘Kalima Tayyaba’ was written.
In an issued statement, Vice Chairman Mohd Yaseen Attie slammed authorities for using excessive force on Muslims who are protesting against the incident from past three days and said that instead of punishing the miscreants, authorities were punishing Muslims.
Attie said that miscreants on behest of communal forces are trying to provoke Muslims in the Chenab region which is shameful and at the same time unacceptable.
Kalima Tayyiba is the basis of Islam and no Muslim in the world will tolerate its disrepute. Every Muslim is ready to die for its honor,” Mohd Yaseen said in the statement,  
Accusing government of giving a free hand to the communal forces in Jammu to harass the Muslims, he said that since the new government is the state has taken over, the anti-Islamic activities are being promoted by the authorities under a well planned strategy particularly in Chenab region which exposes the claims of India being a secular country.
Yaseen also condemned imposition of curfew, restrictions and shutting down of cellular services including internet in the Rajouri district and said that people mostly Muslims who have shown resentment against the incident are being harassed and victimized. “This is the worst kind of state terrorism being unleashed on Muslims in the state,” he added.
He expressed sympathy with the Muslims of the region and assured full support to them. He asked international human rights organizations and others to take a serious note of the prevailing situation.
Meanwhile, Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League and senior AJK-APHC leader Sheikh Mohmmad Yaqoob also condemned the incident and said that disrespect to Islam has exposed India internationally.
“First they harassed minorities in New Delhi and other states of India and now they have started implementing the same agenda in Muslim majority state under which Muslims having majority are being victimized,” Yaqoob said.
